I recently took part in the closing ceremony that concluded my participation in the pilot edition of the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) Mentoring program, an innovative initiative connecting young researchers who received START scholarships with more experienced FNP laureates.
The program aimed to support professional development through mentoring relationships, covering areas such as research topic selection, project management, team leadership, and career path decisions both within and outside academia.
Grateful to FNP for launching this initiative and to my mentor Maria Górna for their guidance throughout the program. Looking forward to applying these insights in my own research leadership and potentially serving as a mentor in future editions.
