As the conference season is in full swing, I wanted to wrap up how it’s going so far, as it has been quite a productive time.
It started with an invited talk at The XLV Max Born Symposium: 13th International Symposium “Optics & its applications” (OPTICS-2025), where I had a chance to reconnect with Manuel Ferrer García, my fellow collaborator since my PhD studies. Then I moved to Rzeszów for the Polish Optical Conference organized by Candela Foundation, which is one of my favorite events recently, and an excellent platform to network with the national optical community. Straight from there, I took part in OptoMeeting 2025, an event organized by our local SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics and Optica Student Chapters. It was a great opportunity to host our collaborators from around the world and discuss future research. Last but not least, I took part as an Nth-timer at SPIE Optics and Photonics, which was also my first international conference back in 2014. To this day, I enjoy coming back to San Diego, even as my role as a researcher changes.
So far, there have been 4 oral and 5 poster contributions from my lab members. Shout out to Magdalena Łukowicz, Jakub Wronski, and Aleksandra Korzeniewska for their great work.
Stay tuned, as there are a few more events ahead of us!
